Portraits and figurative paintings are my favorite subject matter from children to strangers that I encounter along the way.

One of the best things about being an artist is being able to magnify God's creations--nature. Light, color and texture makes floral paintings one of my favorite.

Critics say an artist should settle for just one subject, but I do not agree. I paint a variety of subjects as you can see.

Although I enjoy painting more curves than angles, I occasionally paint architectural structures because of the light that is always changing on them at different times of the day.

Sometimes I escape into abstraction trying to relate it to nature. It is interesting for me to hear people make remarks about what they see in my abstracts! I use multimedia, but mostly poured colored inks in these abstract. The inks create such a beautiful, glossy stained glass effect. I do not have many paintings left in the FANTASY Series so I have started a new MIRAGE series!
